| Introduced to the world of photography in 1984 as a high school subject, it's been an evolving passion engrossing more than 25 years of my life. Having surfed and travelled this remote stretch of Australian coastline over many years has had an everlasting effect - full of good times and great waves with very good mates. As a surfer foremost, photography has always played the bridesmaid. Even after a serious knee injury, time off the board was swiftly exchanged in favour of an upgrade from film to digital camera gear. And while surfing still takes pride and place it hasn't halted my enduring desire to shoot high quality imagery. There seems to be a time and a place for everything... My goal is to continue to capture the waves of this coast and beyond, paying utmost respect to the area that has given me so much in return and the people that live here. After all this time, finally salteyre gives me the outlet that so many people have repeatedly asked for. Seek, find, document, but tread lightly... |
